In an attempt to tame the BiG ICE at Western Fair Sports Complex, Fred Cook summons the Gods of Hockey to reign over and protect them against the mighty Bulldogs and give them strength on a vast ice surface.
The praise to the Gods was all for not as Bulldogs took home the win from the Westgate Canadians at 56 seconds in the third period.
Bulldogs Matt Villeneuve rips one past stand-in Goalie James Wybrow from a smooth and precise pass from defense Walt "Smoothy" Simonis. Less than a minute later Westgates answer back after #7 Fred Cook breaks out the puck and shoots it up to speedster Tyler Coursolle who carries it into the Bulldogs zone. Kyle Huston picks up the pass from Coursolle and dumps it past Norton. Tie Game.
This story repeats itself two more times as Westgate and the Bulldogs hammer at each other with a total shot count of 49 on net.
All players did themselves proud in this game. Spectators were the real winners.
